Delivery & Construction
Unless specified on the product page, all of our furniture and structures come unassembled and in their transport packaging. Items will be delivery to the front door or nearest kerbside depending on the size of item and courier used.
The Overlap Dip Treated 8x6 Apex Shed with Double Doors from Forest is a great storage solution for all types of gardening equipment, from bikes to lawnmowers. The Double Doors and increased headroom ensure there's easy access and plenty of room to move around in this practical shed. An improved design features smaller sections, making it easier to handle and easy to assemble. With more timber and increased framing these are the best overlap sheds we've ever made.
The straight cut boards are overlapped allowing for natural movement of the timber so it can adapt to the changing weather and aid rain water run-off. The garden building features increased framing and an additional metal roof truss bracket for optimal strength. The doors are braced with strong double Z framing, have secure hidden hinges and are fitted with a hasp and staple latch that can be used with your own padlock. Rather than the more common OSB, this shed features a Pressure Treated solid timber floor. Its superior strength allows for the storage of heavier items, shelving or a workbench.
The two fixed windows are made from shatterproof PET glazing, which will not become yellow or brittle over time. This flexible shed is made up of modular sections where same size panels are interchangeable, this means you can choose which side the window panel goes during assembly, or move the window panel forward or backwards. The roof is made from hard wearing sheet material finished with black sand felt.
The Dip Treatment that has been applied at the factory protects the timber from rot and fungal decay. This 8x6 Apex Shed is supplied with a 10 year Anti-Rot guarantee, annual re-treatment is required. These great value garden sheds are manufactured in the UK using FSC certified timber from sustainable sources and come with all fixtures, fittings and felt needed to build, along with easy to follow instructions.
