Delivery & Construction
Unless specified on the product page, all of our furniture and structures come unassembled and in their transport packaging. Items will be delivery to the front door or nearest kerbside depending on the size of item and courier used.
In a stunning combination ivory white quartz and anthracite the Buschbeck Luzern grillbar has all the superb features of a standard Buschbeck barbecue and outdoor fireplace but without the tall chimney.
As with all our Buschbeck barbecue fireplaces, the double skinned construction of the Luzern grillbar means it can burn several different types of fuel allowing you to start off cooking on charcoal and then moving on to logs or firewood when you want to sit round the fireplace to keep nice and warm! Not only is the Buschbeck Luzern grillbar a brilliant barbecue but it is also a fantastic natural fuel fireplace / patio heater. For cooking, the Luzern has four adjustable cooking heights and comes with a heavy duty chrome grill with plenty of space to grill on for even the hungriest of gatherings.
Buschbeck being the only brand of masonry barbecue to achieve the very stringent German TUV/GS safety standard, your Buschbeck Luzern grillbar barbecue will last for many years to come. The life expectancy of these barbecue fireplaces is very difficult to express but in Europe where Buschbeck barbecues are widely distributed it is not unusual to see ones that are in excess of 20 years old! As far as maintenance goes there is little or nothing to do. If the barbecue's appearance becomes at little "weathered" to your liking, simply use a jet wash to clean it down!
How do I site my Buschbeck? A Buschbeck must be outdoors on firm and even ground. It must be sited at least 1 metre away from any combustible materials and any overhanging branches.
How is the item delivered? The carriers will be in touch to arrange a delivery day, this is usually within 5-7 working days from when the order is received by us. IMPORTANT: Please note that this barbecue is delivered on a pallet to your kerbside ONLY. You MUST be at home to check the delivery and any damage must be recorded on the couriers proof of delivery, BEFORE you sign for the delivery. 2 people will then need to be available to move the barbecue from the pallet to your garden as the barbecues weigh approximately 500kg. The pallet will be delivered on a large vehicle (the size of a refuse vehicle) so if there is any limitation on access to your road, such as a narrow cul-de-sac, please discuss this with us first. A 7.5 tonne lorry with a tail lift may be requested as an alternative.
Is the item delivered assembled? Buschbeck barbecues are delivered on one shrink wrapped pallet complete with printed assembly instructions and can weigh between 400 and 550 kilos (depending on which model you order). Each Buschbeck barbecue contains approximately 10 sectional components of which only two require mortaring with the cement provided. Two people are required to assemble Buschbeck barbecues, as some of the individual components are quite heavy. Our transport providers will deliver your Buschbeck barbecue fireplace, as a kerb-side delivery to the nearest vehicular access point.
